At Severn Christian Church, our kids (birth to 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus creatively and relevantly.

We would love to see you and your family visit Severn Kids.

Here's what to expect when visiting Severn Kids for the first time:

First, find the area marked for first-time families. There, we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their room according to their age:

• Nursery Room
• Toddler Room (Walking 2-3yr old)
• Pre-K Room (3-5yr old potty trained)
• Elementary Room (Kindergarten-5th grade)

Upon checking in for the first time, if you have not pre-registered, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

• Parent/guardian name(s)
• Child's name
• Child's birthdate
• Home address
• Phone number
• Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Pre-registering your family makes for a quick and easy check-in when you arrive at SCC.

There is no need to stand in line filling out all the information for your family.

Go to our Severn Kids kiosk to check in, and everyone will be all set!

Before Service: You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: If we need to contact you during the service, someone from our staff will text you from our church number utilizing the phone number provided in the registration process. Please exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer in the lobby who will direct you to our KIDS Wing.

SCC also provides a fully-staffed nursery, ensuring, at minimum, 2-volunteers in the room. This room is ready for families who want to check their babies in with our volunteers.

SCC offers a room for nursing moms in Room A2, to the right of the Welcome Desk in the main lobby. This room is for moms who are not ready to check their babies into our staffed nursery.
