A baby dedication is a special opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their child in a Christ-centered home and to seek God’s guidance as they raise their little one.
During the dedication, parents make a commitment to teach their child about God, model a life of faith, and surround their family with the support of their church family.
It is also a beautiful moment for our church family to come alongside these parents, praying for them and committing to encourage and support them as they seek to raise their child to know and love Jesus.
Baby Dedication is not baptism or a means of salvation for the child. Rather, it is a meaningful declaration of a parent’s desire to follow God’s direction in raising their child and a celebration of the church family’s commitment to walk alongside them.

Who Is This For?
We ask that the parents are either members or regular attendees of Severn Christian Church.
