We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Severn Christian a great one!

Severn Christian Church is located at 8132 New Cut Road, Severn, MD 21144.

In total, an SCC service is about 60-70 minutes in length. Services begin with the SCC Praise Team leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service has concluded, one of our evangelists will share an edifying message from God's Word. At the conclusion of the message, observance of the Lord's Supper will be offered. The service always concludes with an opportunity for any who would like to place their membership, to re-dedicate their lives to Christ, or to surrender their lives to Christ by being immersed in Christian baptism.

Sundays at SCC are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

At SCC we want people to be comfortable when they come through the doors. You'll see people wearing everything from suits and ties to jeans and t-shirts. We are not about judging people by their appearance, so wear what makes you comfortable and prepare to be welcomed and accepted. We are glad you are here!

We believe that kids should be given a solid Biblical foundation in a fun, engaging, and exciting way - and at SCC Kids, we prioritize this. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our SCC Kids program the first time you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the SCC Kids experience. SCC Kids is offered at every Severn Christian Church service for kids ages birth to Grade 5. We also offer a fully staffed nursery so parents can join our service with the comfort of knowing their child is being cared for in our secured Kids Wing. Pre-registering your family makes for a quick and easy check-in when you arrive at service. No need to stand in line filling out all the information for your family. Just go to any check-in station or the SCC Kids area to check in and everyone will be all set.
